About Our Foundation
West Georgia Health is a strong and growing regional health care provider serving west Georgia and east Alabama. To offer exceptional care to this area, we continually invest in facility improvements, new technologies and services designed to improve the health of our community. 
Patient revenues cannot fund all of these needs, so the West Georgia Health Foundation was formed in 2004 to accept private donations to fund urgent priorities of West Georgia Health.
Its first campaign for a new Emergency Department raised over $5.1 million. Then, in 2009, the Foundation raised funds to support the creation of the Women’s Health Center to provide for the needs of the women in our community. Now, West Georgia Health Foundation is engaged in the campaign for a Comprehensive Cancer Center to serve the needs of our growing community.
West Georgia Health Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity and your donation is tax deductible as allowed by law. Gifts of any size are appreciated and help us provide the very best in health care to people of this region.
