Our Foundation \ Cancer Center Campaign
Comprehensive Cancer Center
West Georgia Health has provided cancer care to area residents for more than 60 years, offering a full range of services that support the patient’s journey from diagnosis to survivorship. West Georgia Health Foundation is currently requesting support for development of a Comprehensive Cancer Center to consolidate all West Georgia Health cancer programs in a single location – a place of healing and renewal – concentrating on a return to wellness and on survivorship.
To create the new center, Enoch Callaway Cancer Clinic will be renovated to:
- Consolidate all cancer technologies and programs
- Deliver greater privacy, seamless care and an improved patient/family experience
- Provide educational, psychosocial and compassionate support services
- Prepare for emerging technologies and treatment options
The Comprehensive Cancer Center is a project that will touch hundreds of families each year and fulfill a significant need for our region. Here a tight-knit group of local physicians and staff will design the best treatment path for each patient and coordinate every step, with the team’s focal point being the physical and emotional wellbeing of the patient.
Until cancer is no longer a threat, West Georgia Health is committed to providing an integrated program of cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and education. We are pleased to provide this advanced level of care to our community.
