Why does West Georgia Health need donations from the community?
West Georgia Health is recognized for its quality care and stewardship of allocated resources, but patient revenues alone cannot fund the growth necessary to serve our community in the decades ahead. Our organizational continually enhances its programs, services and technologies to ensure that the health care needs of area residents are met...now and in the future. That is why your support is so important.
How will my donation be used?
The West Georgia Health Foundation Board of Directors chooses the most pressing priorities of our organization for its fundraising campaigns. In the past, a new Emergency Department and Women’s Center were funded. Today, we are accepting donations to create a Comprehensive Cancer Center to provide an enhanced level of compassionate cancer care for our families, friends and neighbors.
Will my contribution really make a difference?
Yes, it will. By making a donation to the West Georgia Health Foundation, you will join a community of caring people who are making great things happen for the good of all.
Is my gift tax deductible?
West Georgia Health Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity. All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent as determined by the IRS.
Can I make a gift of appreciated property, such as real estate or stock?
The Foundation accepts gifts of appreciated stock and real estate. Please call the Foundation Office at 706-845-3029 to discuss your intended gift and obtain the information you will need to assist your advisors in making the transfer.
Can I include West Georgia Health Foundation in my will, trust or life insurance?
