Diabetes management can improve your life.
Diabetes management can improve your life.

WellStar West Georgia Medical Center offers a certified Diabetes Self-Management Training course. This course is designed to help people with diabetes achieve better metabolic control, improve lipid levels, reduce blood pressure, and develop the self-management skills needed to prevent or minimize the complications of diabetes.

A Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) is a licensed healthcare professional who specializes in educating people with diabetes about this condition. Diabetes educators are trained in educating, counseling and supporting people with diabetes to help them achieve and maintain blood sugar control. Diabetes educators partner with physicians to coach, counsel, track and monitor a patient’s care and progress.
