At West Georgia Health, we take exceptional care of our older patients who require short- or long-term specialized care. Whether due to disability, illness, accidents or the normal aging process, we provide rehabilitation or long-term nursing care in two distinctive facilities.
At Twin Fountains Home, a 116-bed facility, we offer nursing care and support services our residents need from trained health care professionals who assist them 24 hours a day. Our experienced, professional nursing staff assesses resident needs, and helps coordinate treatments ordered by the Twin Fountains Home physician and dental staff. Certified nursing assistants help residents with a variety of daily needs including dressing, bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, eating and physical mobility.
The staff strives to maximize the well-being and independence of each resident, understanding the importance of individuality, privacy and dignity. Residents are encouraged to participate in activities such as arts and crafts, music and special events. One-on-one activities are also offered.

The 150-bed skilled and intermediate nursing facility provides continuous access to physicians, surgical support services and 24-hour emergency room service.
Special activities, including games, field trips, parties and entertainment are offered daily. Staff members work with bed-bound and room-bound residents, offering one-on-one activities based on individual needs and abilities. The East Garden, which has a gazebo and garden patio, is a favorite gathering spot where residents can visit with each other, enjoy nature and raise vegetables and flowers.
