Alzheimer's Support Group

Are you looking for someone to talk to who understands what it’s like to deal with Alzheimer's disease? Whether you've been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease or you're caring for a loved one who is afflicted, joining our Alzheimer's Support Group is a great way to find people who understand what you're going through. Meetings are held at Vernon Woods Retirement Community on the second Thursday of each month at 5 p.m.

Bereavement Support Group

Are you grieving the loss of a loved one? Our Bereavement Support Group connects you with a local supportive group of people who really know how you feel. Help is right here at West Georgia Health. Meetings are held every Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Hospice LaGrange conference room. This is a free program for anyone grieving the death of a loved one.

Breast Friends for Life

Breast Friends for Life is a support and awareness group for women who currently have or have had breast cancer. They gather together at West Georgia Health to share their experiences and help each other to get on with their lives. Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at 5 p.m. at the Enoch Callaway Cancer Clinic in the Clark Auditorium.

Breastfeeding Support Group

Nothing is more important than having positive, compassionate support when you and your baby are learning to breastfeed. Find the guidance and information you need in West Georgia Health’s breastfeeding support group. Meetings are FREE and are held every third Monday from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Women's Health Center (across from LaGrange Academy). Experienced lactation consultants will perform weight checks, introduce you to other mothers who are breastfeeding, answer your questions and provide helpful information and resources.

Healing Hearts Perinatal Bereavement Support Group

Our Healing Hearts Perinatal Bereavement Support Group helps families who have lost a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or neonatal death. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month.

Surgical Weight Loss Support Group

If you have had weight loss surgery, or are considering it, please join us at a West Georgia Health Surgical Weight Loss Support Group. Participants can share information, experiences, and emotional support. Each meeting will include an educational topic specifically designed to be of interest to those who have had weight loss surgery.

West Georgia Cancer Support Group of LaGrange

Our Cancer Support Group is open to people with all stages and types of cancer and helps you in your daily struggle against your illness. Join us and share your stories, support, and insight with others who know exactly how you feel. We meet on the last Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Enoch Callaway Cancer Clinic.
